Credit CARD Act update

The Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (Credit CARD Act) contains two provisions that have a rapidly approaching implementation date of August 20, 2009: one requiring a 45 day notice for any change in terms and one requiring mailing of periodic statements for all open-end loans at least 21 days before any late penalty can be assessed.
