Palmetto Cooperative Services, Inc. was founded in 1969 as a corporation owned by the League. The goal of Palmetto Cooperative Services, Inc., is to meet the needs of credit unions through products and services that are fee supported. Products and services provided to the credit unions by Palmetto Cooperative Services, Inc., include: Marketing, Auditing and Bookkeeping, Statement Printing, Rendering & Mailing, Custom Printing, Share Draft Processing, Forms Management Services and Microfiche.

Palmetto Cooperative Services, Inc., also serves as an access to services available from CUNA Service Group (CSG). These services include credit card processing, IRA administration, supplies, forms, major equipment and student loans services. Palmetto Cooperative Services, Inc., also serves credit unions by analyzing and endorsing vendors that meet high standards of products and operational practices. Products and services available through endorsed vendors include ATM services, insurance and share drafts/checks.
