2003 Safe Deposit Box Workshop

The SC Credit Union League is
pleased to provide educational training specific to Safe Deposit Boxes for
credit union employees. This workshop will concentrate on safe deposit
fundamentals and legal issues. Historically, employee responsibility has
been routinely passed from employee to employee with little attention given to
existing procedures or documentation. If a crisis occurs - such as the
death of a box holder - attention is directed to this area. Joining the
situation then are power of attorneys, living trusts and other legal issues.
At this workshop, participants will receive copies of current regulations and
in-depth explanations about their impact on your credit union. This
workshop is ideal for credit unions that offer, or plan to offer, safe deposit
box services to members.

Registration and refreshments
begin at 8:30 a.m., and the registration fee covers all instruction materials, refreshment breaks, and lunch.
Registration Fee: $125
Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made if cancellations are
received prior to November 11th minus a $25 administrative fee.
Substitutions will be accepted. After the cut off date, no refunds
will be made.
