SCCUL Consumer Lending School
Twice a year, credit unions in South Carolina and neighboring states take part in one of the longest-running, most comprehensive lending education programs available. This week-long event includes pre-testing, lecture and activity learning, and a certification exam. For the upcoming dates, check the SCCUL Educational Calendar.

CUNA Lending Council
This national network of credit union lending professionals has its own webpage with news, related events, and listserv discussions via RSS feed. Subscriptions to the bi-weekly In the News e-mails are free, even for non-members.

CUNA's Credit Union Sales Seminars in a Box
A service of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), Credit Union Seminars in a Box features ready-to-use educational programs. The CU Sales Series helps staff build a culture that invites stronger relationships and improves credit unions' bottom lines.

Filene Research Institute
The Filene Research Institute is a source of progressive, research-based information and innovations. Its REAL Solutions toolkit--free to members and non-members--includes strategies for reaching low-wealth households, and a keyword search on "lending" can yield many other helpful, insightful pieces.

Lender Development Program by CUNA Mutual Group
Credit unions looking to build or enhance their lending structure and strategy have had outstanding results with CUNA Mutual's Lender Development Program (LDP). It helps leadership set goals, coach lending professionals, and recognize where to focus additional attention. To request information on the LDP or related programs, complete CMG's Lending Solutions Information Request Form.

Project LEAP - Lending Excellence and Performance
With support from CUNA Mutual Group, CUNA and the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) have initiated Project LEAP to help credit unions succeed in a rising rate environment. The focus is on coordinating training, research, and publishing resources on strategies that strengthen credit union bottom lines.
